New Discovery, How To Pack Tangiers

Recommended Posts

Alright, so this is for all the Noobs that have trouble packing tangiers.. or if you think tangiers is harsh (which I don;t) but anyways..

Steps:
1. Mix up tobacco in package so the juices are evenly distributed
2. Take sharp knife and cut tangiers in very fine pieces
3. Put about half a pennys (to a full penny depending how big your bowl is) size amount of HONEY in the cut tobacco and mix it up
4. Pack the bowl like any other tobacco (space between the foil and tobacco, decent size holes, etc etc.)
5. Light coals, make sure they are fully lit and LET THEM ASH OVER SO THEY ARE NOT BLAZING HOT

Side Note: For the first 15 minutes the honey may neutralize the flavor but after that you get the full blown taste of tangiers with NO tingle in the back of your throat

I discovered this because my roomate was eating a sandwhich with honey and I made him give me a little. I usually don;t have problems packin tangiers either way but it was smooth like layalina

or option 2, mix it with a weaker tobacco, nothing wrong with it.. any miz tastes jus great and it is not as strong

I hope some of you take this advice and it works for you too because i am tired of seeing 1 million threads about it!

Sean

P.S. sry i haven't been around much.. tryin to get through school. i still smoke hookah a lot and appreciate everyone that has sent free samples. Edited by ASUSEAN1

I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the idea!

Question though.. when you cut the shisha, do you cut it in the container or pour it out on a cutting board or something and really chop it up?

okay, I'm smoking this as I write! happy.gif

O.M.G I'm getting a messload of flav off of this Orange Soda! I taste more of it than my past failed attempts

Its just a wee bit harsh...Maybe I need some more acclimation (but it smells normal so idk) or maybe I have too much heat

NOTE: Just got it started about 3 mins ago Edited by JillyIsJustKidding

last time i added honey to tobbaco it tasted like what i would think it would taste like, laundry detergent ugh

hmm maybe too much honey? i jus put a little and maybe taste a difference for the first couple minutes and then the flavor (of the baccy) really comes out!!

I wouldnt do all of that work for relatively little difference in smoke quality. It just doesnt seem like it would be worth it. Pack it right and get the heat right and it wont matter how the tobacco is cut or how much honey is in it or whatnot. Tangiers has a learning curve, deal with it or dont buy it.

I know that people get frustrated, but to go through hell and high water to get it to smoke right, it seems like either some are cut out for the task and some arent.

i understand what you are saying. it is just a tip for people having trouble. i can smoke tangiers regularly and not have a problem but sometimes this is easier than making sure you pack it right and use the perfect amount of heat. I always cut up my tangiers anyway so it really doesn't take much longer to mix honey in

do you cut all the tangiers up and put that amount of honey in it or just cut up the amount you plan on smoking and add the honey to that.

thanks
